Through our Relationship Owner (RO) Program, our Professional Services Group and Support Team are positioned to  meet the ongoing needs of our customers.  Each SunGard customer has a designated Relationship Owner who serves as the consistent customer interface and is held accountable for overall customer satisfaction.

Specific Relationship Owner responsibilities include:

  • Understanding customer business requirements
  • Providing customers with the latest information on SunGard energy products and services
  • Suggesting effective solutions to meet the individual customer's requirements
  • Streamlining SunGard client communication
  • Acting as liaison between the customer and internal SunGard departments to increase responsiveness
  • Communicating customer feedback to SunGard senior management regarding desired product enhancements and future functionality

Our Services and Support teams possess a wealth of experience in the electricity and natural gas industries, including:

  • Generation, generation support, and power delivery support for regulated and deregulated major electric and gas utilities
  • Wholesale and retail market structures and regulation
  • Customer care and back-office retail energy systems
  • Operational modeling and optimization
  • Energy operations and account management
  • System controls, SCADA, transport gas management systems
  • CIS/billing/settlement/and forecasting
  • Distribution operations and enterprise energy/data management

This knowledge and industry expertise enables our Relationship Owners to understand the challenges and issues facing SunGard customers every day and to help our customers realize the full value of their investment in their SunGard's solutions for energy.
